This oligotrophic pool is comprised of cool, clear blue water and surrounded by a natural outcropping of sedimentary rock. The pool is fed by a small waterfall at the top of the overhang, and various small trees and shrubs grow in and around the virtually secluded area. Pike and trout are the most common fish species found here.
